Waste Management and Disposal
Our team successfully executed the evacuation, treatment, and disposal of one hundred and ten drums of spent oil from the storage area at the APM Terminals facility in Apapa, Lagos State. This project was conducted with the utmost professionalism, utilizing state-of-the-art machinery, equipment, and a highly skilled workforce. Rigorous supervision and meticulous documentation were implemented to ensure both environmental preservation and the mitigation of potential hazards during the cleanup process. The evacuated waste oils underwent thorough treatment and disposal, adhering to the highest industry standards. Subsequently, a certificate of safe disposal was issued by the regulatory agency and presented to the client. This certificate serves as a testament to our adherence to regulatory requirements and signifies the proper management and disposal of the spent oil in accordance with environmental guidelines. Our commitment to excellence and regulatory compliance underscores the successful completion of this project, providing our client with the assurance of environmentally responsible practices in the handling of hazardous materials.
Fire Risk Assessment for LPG Stations and Plants
We are helping our esteemed client to conduct a nation-wide Fire Risk Assessment for LPG Stations and Plants. This is centered to the health and safety commitment and objectives of IHS to protect lives and property.
Environmental Audit Report
Our team had the honor of providing expert support in renewing the environmental audit reports for two esteemed service stations of our client in Imo State. This project was conducted to evaluate the condition of the facilities while ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements. The project encompassed a comprehensive evaluation of the facility's performance, environmental aspects, management procedures and policies, health and safety measures, socio-economic impact, and many more. Subsequently, improvement strategies were devised, and a robust environmental management plan was articulated. The culmination of these efforts resulted in a thorough environmental audit report that not only secured regulatory approval but also showcased Enyo Retail and Supply's commitment to environmental compliance and stewardship.
ACR1 and ACR2 Project - Ghana
As we support the construction of one of the biggest Data Centres in Ghana, DLR continues to lead a progressive expansion in the African Region. LOS2 Project
Digital Realty continues to expand globally and across the African region. The LOS2 project was the construction of the Data Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. As an organization with a global commitment to protect the safety and well-being of workers, DLR collaborated with Kevron Group to lead the project team through technical advisory support for the implementation of the DLR Global HSE Specification to build a robust and positive OHS culture.
LKK1 & LKK2 Project
DLR continues to increase its investment in Lagos, Nigeria, through the development of the LOS20 and LOS21 projects in Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. These are currently ongoing projects involving the construction of a big data centre, an enabling access road into the DLR facility, a flood defence wall, and other deliverables based on the project scope. For us at Kevron, we are happy to be appointed on the project to supervise and provide technical support to the GC and the entire project team to drive the DLR Global HSE Specification while also fostering collaborative working with all the contractors to influence positive transformation to safe and healthy working.
Environmental Assessment Report
In a commitment to environmental sustainability, BASF Operations LFTZ engaged KCL for a comprehensive environmental assessment of its Lekki Free Zone facility. The assessment covered air and water quality, soil and sediment evaluation, waste management, impact assessment, climatic studies, and more. Through a rigorous commitment to quality, the Environmental Assessment report gained regulatory approval, showcasing adherence to standards. The report, submitted to BASF, provides valuable insights and recommendations. This collaborative effort exemplifies proactive environmental stewardship and expertise in comprehensive assessments.
BASF Explosion Protection
An explosion protection design study is vitally important, especially when dealing with hazardous applications or environments. This helps to ensure that equipment and processes are properly certified to guarantee the safety of personnel and plants. Kevron Group was appointed by BASF to conduct an explosion protection design study on the Waste-2-Chemical unit. For a company like our client, the protection of lives and properties is centered on their business success and strategies.
Quarterly Environmental Monitoring Report (QEMR)
Our Environmental Management and Sustainability team has embarked on a comprehensive series of environmental monitoring activities at the Mardi Mari Investment Limited facility. This ongoing monitoring initiative is designed to consistently evaluate the facility's condition, promptly identify any deviations in environmental performance, and effectively address issues. Simultaneously, it ensures the continuous effectiveness of the implemented environmental management plan, addressing concerns through timely reviews when necessary. The team has achieved significant milestones, including the development and submission of environmental monitoring reports. These reports have not only received approval from regulatory agencies but have also been confirmed as accurate reflections of the facility's condition during compliance inspections conducted by these agencies. Building on the findings from our comprehensive environmental assessment, our team has proactively proposed and successfully implemented mitigation strategies. This proactive approach has positioned our client, Mardi Mari Investment Limited, as an environmentally friendly company, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and responsible environmental management practices. Notably, these initiatives have contributed to the client's enhanced sustainability brand, solidifying their status as a top environmentally conscious water manufacturing industry in Nigeria.
Project Windsor
The construction and development of Stanbic IBTC Headquarters Towers was a huge success. Project Windsor, a state-of-the-art office facility, is strategically positioned in the heart of Victoria Island, Ozumba Mbadiwe. Kevron Group delivered a robust health and safety consulting service while providing on-site HSE coverage through the development and implementation of HSE specifications. The project achieved a major HSE milestone of over 2.5 million Safe-Man hours without LTI.
Africa Data Centre (ADC) Project
Kevron Group played a crucial role in the successful delivery of the Africa Data Centre (ADC) Project, ensuring the highest standards of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) compliance throughout its execution. The project involved the development of the first phase of Tier III, a five-megawatt data centre in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, Nigeria. The facility, with an initial 1.1MW capacity, accommodates two Modular Data Halls (MDH) along with operational office spaces. It features a lower ground level comprising a drop-off zone, parking area, offices, meeting rooms, ablutions, storage, reception, and security areas. The modular units (MU) are positioned on the ground and first-floor levels, while the roof level houses generators and air-conditioning condenser units servicing both the Modular Data Halls and Modular Units. The external design incorporates two levels: a ground-floor circulation and loading area and a ramped section providing access to the lower-ground amenities. The facility is planned to expand to achieve a total IT capacity of 5MW in the future. Throughout the project, Kevron Group provided expert HSE advisory support, collaborating closely with the project team to implement industry best practices and ensure a safe and compliant work environment. By leveraging its deep expertise in Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (QHSSE) management, Kevron Group reinforced a culture of safety, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance, safeguarding both personnel and infrastructure. The successful completion of this project highlights Kevron Group’s commitment to delivering world-class HSE solutions and supporting complex, high-stakes infrastructure developments in Nigeria and beyond.
